As a Cloud Operations Engineer you'll join our Infrastructure Department and your primary focus will be designing and maintaining blockchain-based systems and working closely with dynamic team of SysOps, Developers, Architects, SecOps and other departments to continue to deliver excellence at Bitstamp.

Requirements

• Design, develop and maintain blockchain-based systems and applications that support Bitstamp's custody operations.
• Automation of infrastructure and processes.
• Contribute to the development of Bitstamp's overall technical custody strategy and participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues, both independently and with the assistance of other team members.

On day one you'll bring

• Knowledge of Linux and Docker.
• Experience with Node.js, React, Python or other high-level programming language, and other relevant frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

We'll love it even more if you have

• Experience in blockchain engineering (preferably fintech or financial services industry).
• Good knowledge of MySQL.
• Experience with the use of IaaS providers, such as AWS.
