Your role and responsibilities

Your role will be crucial in enhancing our cybersecurity measures to protect against evolving digital threats. You’ll contribute to developing and implementing advanced cybersecurity strategies, ensuring the safety and integrity of the excitation system product portfolio and enhancing their compliance towards the common industrial standards. Join us in safeguarding our digital landscape and ensure the security for power generation technologies.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Identify and define cyber security upgrade packages to enhance adherence to the IEC62443 standard for the overall excitation product portfolio.
• Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard our systems and networks against evolving cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans, enhancing compliance with the IEC62443 standard and industry-specific regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security solutions (i.e. encryption protocols).
• Stay updated with emerging threats, security technologies, and best practices, evaluating and recommending innovative solutions to enhance our security posture.
• Provide guidance and support for security awareness programs, training employees on cybersecurity best practices, and promote a culture of mindful security within the organization.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 5 years of practical experience in cybersecurity roles.
• Certification in cybersecurity such as CISSP/CISM/CISA or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in implementing and maintaining security measures in alignment with the IEC62443 standard for industrial control systems security.
• Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management, with a thorough understanding of industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Practical experience in deploying and managing security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
• Familiarity with emerging cybersecurity technologies, threat landscape, and proactive risk mitigation strategies to effectively protect organizational assets.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to implement cybersecurity initiatives and develop a secure environment.
