Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer at Kafein, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our development and deployment processes. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure the reliability and security of our systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Knowledge of NATS and OpenSearch is preferred,
• Collaborating with software developers to understand project requirements and infrastructure needs,
• Designing and implementing automation and orchestration scripts to accelerate software delivery,
• Managing and monitoring cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure,
• Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities,
• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and delivery,
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise,
• Implementing and enforcing security best practices and compliance policies,
• Experience with Microservice architecture and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes),
• Knowledgeable in the installation and management of Load Balancing, High Availability, and Clustering technologies,
• Experienced in the installation and management of monitoring tools (Prometheus Alertmanager, Newrelic, Elastic APM, Zabbix, etc.).

General Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience),
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role,
• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, etc.),
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud),
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting,
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash,
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
