Senior Java Software Engineer

Our client, a leading telecom organisation, wants to add several senior Java software developers to their existing team in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Developing innovative solutions using Java or Kotlin, Akka and Docker
• Designing and building systems using Reactive Architecture
• Collaborating closely with product managers, system architects, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality technical solutions
• Participating in the decision-making process for architectural and technological solutions
• Creating and implementing CI/CD pipelines

The successful candidate must have:

• Experience in Java or Kotlin
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD (Teamcity/GitlabCI) and test automation
• Experience with functional programming, message-based communication, Reactive programming, DDD and TDD
• Experience with messaging frameworks - RabbiqMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka
