Senior Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code using Java to deliver exceptional software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement cutting-edge features and applications.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to best practices to uphold code quality and maintainability.
• Analyze and resolve complex software issues, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
• Contribute actively to Agile development processes such as Scrum or Kanban, ensuring seamless project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment, and ensure smooth delivery of reliable, high-performance applications.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of hands-on expertise in Java development, with a strong command of the Spring framework.
• Demonstrated experience working with AWS and on-premises systems, showcasing your ability to navigate diverse environments.
• Advanced SQL knowledge to design, optimize, and troubleshoot database interactions effectively.
• Familiarity with Git, Sonar, Snyk, or similar tools for version control, code quality, and vulnerability management.

Preferred Skills:

• A background in banking or financial services is highly desirable, along with familiarity with investment management or accounting systems.
