This position is based at our beautiful worldwide headquarters campus in Beaverton, Oregon. The position follows a "4/1 Hybrid" schedule (Mondays-Thursdays in the office, Fridays optional at home).
You will be part of the Global Technology organization and will be supporting an enterprise platform that enables Nike’s item level serialization for RFID and QR codes. You will collaborate with peer software engineers, product managers, and engage with other Global Technology teams to align on both organizational and team level goals.
We’re looking for a curious and collaborative Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining multiple back-end services that play a key role in protecting Nike’s brand value. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a combination of relevant professional experience, education, and training
- At least 1 year of professional back-end software development experience
- Good foundational knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically AWS DynamoDB
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- AWS experience including SQS, Lamda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, and other cloud native technologies
- Familiarity with modern DevOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and related tools like Terraform
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
