Job Duties
- Architect and build scalable backend infrastructure to support high-frequency data processing and complex engineering workflows.
- Develop and optimize real-time telemetry pipelines that power critical decision-making.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native architectures for high availability, security, and reliability.
- Automate everything—from CI/CD to observability, ensuring seamless deployments and system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, working alongside aerospace engineers, software developers, and data scientists to create mission-ready solutions.
- Solve hard problems in distributed computing, event-driven architecture, and high-scale storage optimization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend, data, or DevOps engineering.
- Expertise in Go or Python, with a strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, streaming data (Kafka, Flink, Spark), and performance optimization.
- Strong grasp of CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and security best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where innovation is the norm.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or mission-critical engineering.
- Familiarity with ML pipelines, predictive analytics, or large-scale simulation systems.
- Understanding of cybersecurity protocols for cloud-native applications.
Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain US Secret clearance.

Compensation Details
$130,000 - $200,000 + Generous Equity
