DevOps Engineer- Terraform & Akamai Automation (US Remote)

• Design, develop, and maintainTerraform modulesto automate the deployment of 400+ sites inAkamai
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and security
• Develop and maintainCI/CD pipelinesto streamline deployment workflows
• Configure and optimizeAkamai servicessuch as EdgeWorkers, Property Manager, and Global Traffic Management (GTM)
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (networking, security, and application teams) to integrate Akamai solutions efficiently
• Monitor and troubleshootdeployment issues, ensuring high availability and performance
• Maintain detaileddocumentationof configurations, workflows, and best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud/CDN automation

• 3+ yearsof experience withTerraformand Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong experience withAkamai CDNtechnologies, including Property Manager, EdgeWorkers, and GTM
• Proficiency in scripting languages such asPython, Shell, or PowerShell
• Experience withCI/CD toolssuch as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• Strong knowledge ofnetworking principles, DNS, and web performance optimization
• Experience withcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Familiarity with configuration management tools likeAnsible or Puppet
• Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues and optimize performance
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Akamai certifications (e.g.,Akamai Certified Professional)
• Experience withKubernetes and containerized deployments
• Experience integrating Akamai withWAF (Web Application Firewall)and security policies
• Prior experience working in alarge-scale site deploymentenvironment
