Machine Learning Engineer

At Stomble we're an exciting startup looking for a highly experienced machine learning engineer to join our team. We are a small startup bootstrapping our way forward with a group of eager engineers and designers already with a high level of ambition to build and deliver our MVP product to the world.

Stomble is creating, developing and building infrastructure that will eventually support small businesses to have more control over their business by building solutions to solve their most difficult and complex problems. Our mission and vision are to empower businesses to operate without boundaries, limitations and restrictions. We are building a data analytics infrastructure that is powered by AI.

Why are we looking for an experienced person?

We are opening ourselves up to someone willing donate their time, knowledge and skills to help us learn, grow and develop our incredible product from an idea into a competitive platform that competes at the highest levels and has the pulling power to entice the smartest people to join our mission and vision. In addition, we have struggled to get our product off the ground due to internal problems and we would be looking for experienced people to join our small scrappy startup to help solve those problems and to give us the best chances at success.

Responsibilities:

• Data engineering experience will be highly desirable.
• Experience will cloud technologies and architectural practices to enhance tooling across ML model development lifecycle.
• Drive the design, development, and implementation of tools, systems, and processes that accelerate engineering velocity, reduce manual effort, and increase the quality of output.
• Has knowledge of ML libraries such as sklearn, keras, and arimas.
• Proficient in python.
• Demonstrated proficiency with JavasScript, React, and other web technologies.

The successful candidates will have:

• Have years of experience as an engineer in an agile environment and product-driven company.
• A desire to voracious and intrinsic desire to learn and fill missing skills.
• Are comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing conditions. You view change as an opportunity to add structure and order when necessary.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, a self-starter that can work apart of a team to deliver solutions.
• Must be driven to build tools to improve the lives of small businesses and entrepreneurs.
