About the role Our client is looking for a Data Analyst Intern who provides analytical expertise, including data collection, cleansing, and providing analytical support services, to inform procurement and category management, decision-making and strategy. You are expected to uphold company values, work within brand and to help clients gain more ground. Roles and Responsibilities Support clients through the delivery of accurate data categorisaton, visualisation, reports, analysis and trend identification Populate and maintain complex databases and apply analytical tools, techniques and systems to analyse and interpret a wide range of supplier and organisational information and options to support procurement planning and decision making Model complex business problems, discover business insights and identify opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques.

• Facilitating discussions with customers to identify their needs, understand the scope of work and to ensure that necessary support is provided to the customer Provide a full range of analytical services to customers from data collection, cleansing, and general database integrity, forming hypotheses, to identifying trends and providing insights Communicate with stakeholders as required (meetings, telephone and email). Build solid relationships with customers; following communication schedules according to client requirements
  
  

Requirements: Educational Background – Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Technical Skills – Basic knowledge of data analytics tools like Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau. Analytical Mindset – Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to analyze complex datasets and derive meaningful insights. Communication Skills – Ability to present data findings clearly through reports, dashboards, and presentations. Attention to Detail – Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity. Teamwork & Collaboration – Willingness to work with different teams and contribute to group projects. Eagerness to Learn – Passion for data analytics, with a keen interest in improving skills and staying updated with industry trends.
