Our client is seeking a Senior Java Developer to take on a key role in driving impactful projects and fostering innovation. In this role you will find creative solutions to customer-specific challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Spring-boot applications as a Java Fullstack Developer.
• Analyse, design, and optimise business processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Provide management and technical leadership within projects or cross-functional teams, driving the implementation of new features and applications.
• Conduct code reviews to uphold best practices and high-quality standards.
• Mentor and train junior developers, professional team members, and working students to nurture their growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Manage the lifecycle of applications, identifying optimisation opportunities.
• Stay updated with and introduce new technologies to improve processes and solutions.
• Lead decisions on technical solutions and architectures for large-scale projects.
• Develop unit and integration tests while supporting quality management with test automation.
• Oversee deployments, from test systems to final rollouts across environments.
• Facilitate workshops, dailies, and other team formats to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Your Profile:

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, IT-related studies, or equivalent professional training (e.g., IT Specialist in Application Development).
• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development with extensive expertise in modern technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art tools like AMQP, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, ElasticSearch, Kibana/Grafana, Kubernetes, etc.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing projects and making technical decisions.
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and team-driven approach.
• Passion for mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level developers.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
