📍 Location: Remote with ccasional travel to Berlin | 💼 Full-Time | Salary; Up-to €90,000/year

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and implement security policies to ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 13485, DiGAV, and other relevant regulations.
• Define and document technical security requirements for software development, ensuring secure-by-design principles.
• Conduct risk assessments and regular security audits, identifying vulnerabilities and driving improvements.
• Work closely with engineering teams to integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor and enhance the organisation’s security posture, training staff on best practices and regulatory obligations.
• Stay ahead of industry developments in data privacy, security standards, and medical device regulations.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in information security, compliance, or risk management roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, ISO 13485, and medical device security standards.
• Experience collaborating with software development teams to ensure secure implementation of technical requirements.
• Ability to conduct security audits, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring.
• Excellent documentation skills, with experience writing policies, procedures, and compliance reports.
• A proactive approach to security, with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
