Position Overview:

For one of our partners, we are seeking a Senior Developer .NET who will be responsible for Develop .NET code (C# mainly, ASP.Net MVC/WCF. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the success of our partner organization.

Role & Responsibilities :

In your position you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop .NET code (C# mainly, ASP.Net MVC/WCF) ;
• Develop web-based user interfaces (Html, Css, JavaScript, Jquery);
• Develop webservices and clients (both WCF/SOAP and REST based);
• Supply technical support to our offshore partner

With development, we mean a broad sense of development, whereby you also design, analyze, test and coordinate your work with the others’ members of the team. We expect you to respect coding standards, discuss solutions with your peers and maintain a high degree of professionalism.

Because we have a very large, complex and heterogeneous environment, you will see a lot of different technologies, in various life cycles. In addition, we have a large amount of internal and external integration elements, for example with Social Media, native applications, or enterprise cloud services. We thus expect a pro-active learning attitude since there will be always a mixture of old and new.

General requirements

Language:

• Good skills in English language (reading/writing and conversation).

Mandatory Skills

1. Experience in Coding, Tools and Technologies –
2. .NET MVC 5.0 and JavaScript Framework
3. Knowledge of REST and WCF
4. Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and Design Patterns
5. Experience with RDMS such as Oracle or SQL Server
6. Understanding of SOLID principles
7. Deep Knowledge of SDLC

Good to have:

• Deep knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS 3
• Deep knowledge of IIS and web server technologies
• Knowledge of Release management
• Knowledge of Windows Server OS (2008R2 and higher)
• Knowledge of generic (Telecom) CRM-systems
• Experience with OR Mappers like NHibernate and Entity Framework

Experience with Unit test framework like NUnit, xUnit
