Embedded AI/ML Engineer

We are seeking an Embedded AI/ML Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge EdgeAI projects. This role will involve contributing to the development and optimization of AI models for real-world applications, particularly for automotive, IoT, and industrial markets. You'll support high-performance computing farms for AI training, help optimize EdgeAI software, and work on radar systems and sensor fusion techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and track the latest Edge AI optimization technologies.
• Apply techniques like quantization, pruning, and neural architecture search for both discriminative and generative AI.
• Build demonstrators and proof-of-concepts for AI methodologies at the Edge.
• Work on AI for radar-systems and sensor functionalities.
• Collaborate on EU-supported projects with universities and external partners.

Requirements:

• MSc, PhD, or PDEng in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Machine Learning/AI.
• Experience with embedded systems, NPU accelerators, and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Bash on Linux systems.
• Familiarity with ML-Ops environments, build systems (YOCTO), and cross-compilation for ARM.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of AI toolchains and inference engines (CUDA, TensorRT, TFLite, ONNX).
• Experience with on-device and federated learning is a plus.
• Familiarity with next-gen computing technologies like neuromorphic and in-memory computing is beneficial.
