MyChek is an innovative platform designed to assist immigrants and individuals navigating complex processes by offering expertly curated checklists, AI-powered tools, and a comprehensive guide. Our mission is to simplify the journey to the U.S. and beyond through seamless, user-friendly experiences. We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join us on a contract basis and help take our app’s user experience to the next level.

As a UI/UX Designer at MyChek, you will be responsible for enhancing the design and usability of our app and web platforms. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, conceptualize design solutions, and create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric interfaces. This is a contract role requiring a creative individual who is passionate about delivering engaging user experiences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, user requirements, and technical constraints.
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for both web and mobile interfaces.
• Create visually appealing and intuitive designs that align with MyChek’s brand guidelines and enhance usability.
• Conduct user research, usability tests, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
• Work iteratively with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and techniques to bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Ensure a consistent user experience across all platforms, optimizing for accessibility and inclusivity.
  

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design work.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Experience designing intuitive interfaces and user-centric experiences for both mobile apps and web platforms.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Ability to translate complex processes into simple, user-friendly interfaces.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Experience in creating designs for multi-lingual platforms is a plus.
