Frontend Engineer

RaySearch is at the forefront of cancer treatment technology, and we are now looking for a skilled frontend engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the frontend experience of RayIntelligence, our analytics tool for radiotherapy that aggregates data from various systems and machines, empowering clinics to draw valuable insights from a population of treated patients.

About The Position

As the first frontend engineer in our team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing modern user interfaces that visualize large and complex datasets. RayIntelligence is still in its early stages, giving you the chance to influence both design decisions and the overall frontend architecture.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop modern web applications with Apache Superset at the core.
• Build dynamic, high-quality Apache ECharts visualizations, using React/TypeScript (JavaScript)/CSS.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers and domain experts in radiotherapy to ensure an optimal user experience.
• Learn about the radiotherapy domain to tailor solutions for clinics’ needs.
  
  
  

Your Profile

We are looking for a frontend engineer with a strong sense of ownership and an interest for creating intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces. You should be comfortable working in a data-heavy environment and be eager to expand your technical expertise.

Requirements

• Experience developing modern web applications.
• Ability to take ownership of long and short term assignments, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• UI and graphic design sensibilities.
• Technical expertise in frontend engineering, including optimizing performance and architecting scalable solutions
• Solid understanding of general software engineering best practices, including:
  
  
  

- Version control & code reviews - Unit & end-to-end testing, automated testing in CI/CD - Writing clean, reusable, and scalable code - Documentation

Meriting

• Experience with advanced data visualization tools such as D3.js, THREE.js, or WebGL.
