Tasks

We are a Digital Technology team supporting the Global Banking and Markets division, traditionally known as investment banking. Our mission is to drive the digital agenda, delivering innovative software solutions that align with the organization’s strategy. As a technology-driven group, we focus on building resilient, efficient, and fast-to-market solutions while championing the DevOps and Agile approach.

Our Current Priorities Include

Enhancing our successful on-premise digital platform, enabling teams to build and host customer-centric products efficiently.
Developing the flagship Single Dealer Platform, a critical initiative driven by client demand, prioritizing accessibility and rapid delivery.
Collaborating with global Sales teams to create tools that streamline processes and enhance customer service.
Delivering technology to support the creation and dissemination of high-quality research content.
Building advanced AI/ML tools to help sales and trading teams uncover new client insights.
Developing internal social tools, fostering collaboration and community within the organization.

Our team operates across seven global locations, embracing flexible and hybrid working models. Teams are small (4–6 members), working closely with business product owners. We prioritize continuous delivery, making hundreds of changes daily and ensuring our production environment remains stable and high-performing. We value adaptability, collaboration, and ownership, expecting team members to step beyond their comfort zones and contribute across the tech stack.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs.
Collaborate closely with business product owners and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver impactful features.
Ensure rapid, frequent, and stable deployment of production-ready code.
Maintain and improve system resilience, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot production issues, providing timely and effective support.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools adopted across the organization.
Take ownership of the full software delivery lifecycle, from analysis and design to deployment and support.
Promote best practices in coding, testing, and continuous integration/deployment.

Requirements

Proven experience in front-end development with JavaScript and one or more modern frameworks, such as React or Vue.js.
Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, and performance optimization.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Familiarity with version control systems, like Git.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment with a focus on delivering high-quality user interfaces.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
