Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join the R&D team at our subsidiary Rightware and drive the integration of Kanzi products into the Android ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Kanzi’s Android functionalities, build toolchains, reference applications, platforms and more.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Kanzi’s Android functionalities, build toolchains, reference applications, platforms and more.
Requirements:
We’re looking for candidates with a passion for:
- Android ecosystem development, including best practices and modern frameworks.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on software architecture.
- Debugging complex systems and optimizing performance.
- Collaborative teamwork in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Android/Java SDK/framework/library development.
- Android application development.
- Language interop, especially Java-C++ with JNI and SWIG.
- Android framework, including Activity system, View system, Surface flinger.
- Java, Kotlin, C++ and Rust programming languages.
- Android build systems, including Gradle, CMake, Soong.
- Gradle multi-project build and plugin development.
- AOSP and Android Automotive (AAOS), including building, analyzing, and customizing.
- Build automations and CI.
- Screenshot testing, benchmarking and profiling.
Strong English language skills
