We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior AI Engineer to join our team!


Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with a focus on Computer Vision to lead the development and optimization of our satellite imagery analysis tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, deep learning, and image processing, with a proven track record of deploying models in production environments. A key responsibility will be ensuring the seamless integration of analysis results into Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support comprehensive geospatial analyses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced computer vision algorithms for satellite imagery analysis.
  • Enhance and fine-tune existing models, including SAM, Mask R-CNN, and YOLO, to improve segmentation accuracy across varying image resolutions.
  • Integrate analysis results into GIS platforms, ensuring compatibility and facilitating comprehensive geospatial analyses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into scalable, real-time processing systems.
  • Conduct research on state-of-the-art techniques in object detection, image segmentation, and change detection to inform project development.
  • Lead the preprocessing of imagery data, incorporating user inputs to refine model performance.
  • Develop and maintain automated training pipelines and data analytics tools to enhance model performance continually.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the technical team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in computer vision, image processing, or related domains.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C#, with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong understanding of deep learning architectures, including CNNs, RNNs, and GANs.
  • Experience with geospatial data and GIS systems is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to develop and deploy computer vision applications; experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools and libraries such as OpenCV, GDAL, and Flask.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large-scale image data processing and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Background in developing web-based applications and services.
  • A record of published research in reputable journals or conferences related to computer vision or machine learning.
