Senior DevOps Engineer

QuantumGate is a startup within VentureOne, supported by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and its research arm, the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). We specialize in developing and commercializing advanced post-quantum cryptographic solutions, with a mission to secure enterprise digital environments through cutting-edge protocols and applications that tackle the challenges of the post-quantum era.

We seek highly skilled and experienced DevOps engineers to join our dynamic team to build our next cloud-based product. Providing a virtual Android service, mobile applications, infrastructure and virtual machine scalability, security, and overall service scalability.

Responsibilities

Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of project and product build, test, deployment, and update infrastructure, tools, and processes.

Manage mobile application build and deployment:

• Android build & deployment
• iOS build & deployment
• AOSP build and update management, including signing and verification

Set up and maintain Cloud infrastructure, including:

• Deployment and update management
• IT infrastructure automation using GitOps (preferred tools: Tekton build pipelines, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions)

Develop and contribute to test automation, including:

• Regression test set development
• Performance testing and scalability testing
• End-to-end (E2E) test automation for cloud-based systems, including streaming protocol (e.g., WebRTC) performance testing

Manage environment setup and lifecycle, including:

• Configuration and support for multiple deployments
• Maintenance, updates, backups, and recovery processes

Ensure application security by implementing best practices and security tools.

Collaborate with both local and remote teams, ensuring proper execution and regular reporting to team members and project leads.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on system build, infrastructure, automation testing and development.
• Experience in delivering cloud-based and mass user-based products to productization quality levels.
• Hands-on expertise in automation testing frameworks, such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium
• Strong knowledge of Cloud-based systems and automation testing for such environments.
• Understanding of application security practices and tools.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Python, TypeScript, GitOps CI/CD
• Proven ability to work in a distributed team environment and effectively communicate with remote teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
