Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Senior Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end execution of large (GW Scale) ground mounted solar projects. This includes handling all technical, financial, and commercial aspects of the project from the time the contract is signed until the point that the project is completed and handed over to the client.

Responsibilities

• Outline project execution strategy and submit to management prior to project kick-off meeting.
• Ensure preparation of detailed project schedule with appropriate milestones, based on contract. Ensure that drawings are obtained from design team.
• Review and approve drawings prior to submission to client and monitor and review all rework and resubmissions until final approval is obtained.
• Work with Finance and Management team to prepare construction estimate and get it approved.
• Monitor progress periodically against schedule, quality standards and budget, as well as against contractual requirements, client requirements and company standards. Highlight critical points and propose corrective action plans.
• Ensure resource mobilization for the project at various stages, as per project strategy and project requirements.
• Ensure that work adheres to all statutory requirements and policies on safety, environment, and community issues as per contract, company policies and law of land.
• Establish relationship with all stakeholders including the client and internal stakeholders including management team, supporting teams. Ensure that all client approvals are obtained appropriately and without delay and all client inspections are conducted as per contract. Address any variations contractually.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree - Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 18 years of experience in Electrical, Civil and Mechanical aspects of PV solar projects.
• Exposure to projects in the Middle East preferred.
• Strong background in project/construction management for large-scale Solar EPC (Greenfield/Brownfield) projects.
