Job Title: HR Specialist

Location: Hybrid (site close to Luzern)
My client, a global biotech organisation currently has an urgent need for skilled HR Specialist to join on an initial 6 Month contract. In this role your responsibilities will include managing employee onboarding and offboarding, as well as assisting with administrative duties related to social security and pensions. By working closely with the HR Director Switzerland and the Senior HR Payroll Specialist, you will have the chance to contribute to key HR initiatives, such as entity integration, benefits and policy harmonization, process improvements, and training delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with payroll teams to oversee the administrative aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Assist with social security-related tasks, including AHV, pension plans, and family allowances.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, including organizing new hire orientations and conducting exit interviews.
- Handle administrative tasks related to cross-border permits and A1 requests. Support the implementation of a new time-tracking system and oversee the transfer of employee records.
- Assist in local HR administration processes and systems, working in collaboration with the HR Service Center.
- Commercial education with qualifications as a payroll specialist or HR administration specialist diploma.
- 4-7 years of experience in payroll operations and HR administration, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector and working with field employees.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, including social security and tax matters, along with advanced skills in Workday, Abacus, and Excel.
- Fluency in German and English
