Our client is revolutionizing how capital flows to emerging markets through their innovative fintech platform. We're seeking a Backend Engineer to help build their end-to-end solution that connects investors with financing opportunities in emerging markets.

The Challenge

Build a scalable platform that captures real-world asset performance via multiple streams of operational and financial data in a decentralized network of business counterparties.

In This Role, You Will:

• Create data models that support complex financial analytics.
• Implement data quality monitoring and validation systems.
• Ensure data security and compliance across our platform.
• Build and maintain a decentralized processing system that can handle high throughput and complex counterparty relationships.
• Integrate IoT devices and ERP systems.
• Develop APIs for real-time data access and analytics from decentralized ledgers.

As a Successful Candidate, You Will Have:

• Experience building complex distributed or decentralized systems.
• An understanding of microservice architecture and twelve-factor app patterns.
• Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments.
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Node.js, Next.js (priority)
• Golang, TypeScript, Rust (nice to have)

It’s a Bonus If You Have:

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for financial data.
• Background in blockchain or distributed ledger technologies.
• Experience with financial data processing or trading systems.
• Knowledge of IoT data processing and telemetry systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with cryptographic signing algorithms, asymmetric cryptography, and key management.
