Your Impact:

• Lead the charge in developing resilient, scalable Java-based solutions
• Innovate event-driven architectures that will reshape Custody technology landscape
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence
• Provide technical and functional expertise, influencing key stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end development, from design to implementation and quality assurance
• Collaborate closely with wider stakeholders to drive project success
• Contribute to system architectures and design decisions
• Proactively address project requirements and articulate challenges to mitigate delivery risks
• Champion clean code practices and continuous integration/delivery mechanisms

Technical Skills:

• Strong Java experience with modern Inversion of Control frameworks
• Expertise in event-driven architecture, design, and development
• Experience with pub/sub infrastructure (e.g., Kafka)
• Proficiency in Continuous Integration/Delivery and agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with microservices and container deployment (e.g., Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift)
• Understanding of DevOps automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Elastic, MongoDB)
• Commitment to Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development practices
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience (Master's degree preferred)
