Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: Remote

Remuneration: £45.19 - £50 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary, 6 months


Responsibilities:

  • Utilise advanced statistical techniques, machine learning, and programming skills to analyse complex, high-dimensional datasets. Recognise patterns and identify opportunities that lead to prototype development and product enhancement.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and algorithms using a flexible, analytical approach to maximise data value extraction.
  • Generate and test hypotheses while analysing and interpreting results from product experiments to drive business insights.
  • Collaborate with product engineers to translate prototypes into market-ready products, services, and features, while offering guidelines for large-scale implementation.
  • Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualisation support, including assistance with online customer service dashboards and other ad-hoc data analysis requests.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R, experience with big data tools like Hadoop, and familiarity with data visualisation platforms such as Tableau.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex information in writing and fostering in-depth engagement on relevant topics.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets to extract actionable insights.
