We are now looking for a Software Developer Trainee to join our team in Ericsson Jorvas, Finland. Your job would be to make a software program using Microsoft Studio. The software would extract data from a Kafka Server, analyse the data and presents the data on a web-based GUI. The project would involve programming in C# (Data extraction, analysis and storage in data base) and Blazor for the Web Based GUI.

Expectations:

You are at least on your second year of university studies towards a MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or related technical field and have progressed well in your academic work. You're confident about your technical skills and eager to learn. You are ready to tackle challenges working together with your agile team on speech quality measurements and test automation of virtualized network functions and cloud technologies.

We expect you to work full-time during the summer period, with an option to continue part-time during the next academic year.

Technical Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of programming in C# and .NET.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or an eagerness to learn about data handling technologies.
• Interest in learning web development with MudBlazor or similar Blazor-based frameworks.
• Understanding of database management principles and a willingness to learn SQL or other database technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and a desire to work with large data sets.
• Enthusiasm for building user-friendly and responsive interfaces.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with good communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
