We are seeking a highly skilled Data Program Manager to join our client's dynamic team in the lottery industry. This is a strategic role, where you will serve as a vital link between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data initiatives are aligned with the organization's goals. As the Data Program Manager, you will focus on structuring and prioritizing the data department's work to drive impactful results. Current projects include introducing self-service reporting and analytics solutions, optimizing marketing spend using external marketing mix models (MMM), and defining processes for improved internal collaboration. A key challenge in this role will be transitioning the data department to a "data as a product" mindset, addressing business needs holistically.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage planning, scoping, resourcing, and delivery of major data platform initiatives to align with business objectives.
  • Oversee a portfolio of data team projects, managing risks, dependencies, and impediments to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders updated on program status, issues, and risks.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies, balancing multiple initiatives.
  • Handle cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes by optimizing scope, schedules, and resources.
  • Regularly monitor progress and provide updates to data and executive leadership.
  • Establish and refine data project and business requirement standards, including documentation processes.
  • Lead the implementation of data governance practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.


Requirements:

  • University degree in technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Program or Project Management with a focus on data technologies, including cross-functional projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data domains such as data warehousing, data analytics, and data engineering.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to manage stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and execute effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in scoping technical requirements and effectively prioritizing tasks.
