Are you a walking FAQ that can inform colleagues? Do you naturally take the lead and do you do this by setting a good example? We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to help our clients build world-class applications from an in-house location!

As a Senior Java Developer at iO, you work in the in-house teams of top brands such as Bol.com, Jumbo, KLM and Port of Rotterdam. Thanks to your expertise and the necessary experience, you are able to take a leading role in the project teams of these companies. You are the point of contact and your clients know that they can rely on your code, vision and input as a senior. They also know that you can guide and motivate other colleagues in the teams, as well as help them excel.

You also check in with your iO colleagues: you meet at least once a week to catch up and learn from each other. Speaking of knowledge: you can never know enough! That is why, at iO, you are given time and a budget to further develop yourself. For example, you can follow courses and obtain certificates – or give presentations yourself, write blogs and contribute to the Open Source community. We ensure that we stay ahead by participating in one of the many events, conferences and knowledge sessions available.

Your Qualities And Skills As Senior Kotlin Developer (2)

• 5+ years of work experience as a Java Developer
• Experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST and Microservices
• You have experience working at/with enterprise organizations
• We consider it a plus if you have knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/ Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes and Docker
