Senior iOS Software Engineer

Job Overview

Creates and maintains mobile applications for the collection and transmission of clinical data.

Essential Functions

• Translates functional specification into technical design of mobile applications
• Perform impact analysis and work estimation for the benefit of the product owner
• Liaises with medical device manufacturers to obtain integration technologies and documentation
• Creates and performs developer and automated tests for the developed solutions
• Manages the integration of the source code into the revision system
• Creates and maintains the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines related to the mobile applications
• Liaises with the teams maintaining the back-end API used by the mobile applications
• Provides 2nd and 3rd level support for the deployed applications, as support to the service desk
• Creates and maintains the SDLC deliverables related to mobile applications
• Report on progress and issues and drives continuous improvement related to the mobile applications development
• Performs code reviews
• Mentors and support junior developers
• Monitor technology trends and makes architectural and technological recommendations related to the mobile applications
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• Has strong in developing mobile applications for iOS
• Experienced in publishing applications on the Apple App Store
• Experienced in security, performance, and offline mode support of applications
• Has excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and design patterns
• Is used to working in a development team with a Product Owner and testers
