Aufgaben

As an Analytics Engineer, your role will be to design and optimize data models that empower our clients to make data-driven decisions. You will be expected to transform, structure, and maintain data for efficient analysis and reporting.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of data modeling and transformation best practices, articulating optimal approaches to the team
• Develop and optimize data models using dbt, Dataform, and SQL to enable efficient analysis and reporting
• Automate and streamline data transformation processes to ensure scalability and maintainability
• Translate client needs and objectives into well-structured data models and reporting strategies, effectively communicating insights and recommendations
  
  

Profil

• Experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer with a strong focus on data modeling and transformation
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with data warehousing solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.)
• Experience working with GA4 data exports to BigQuery and structuring event-based data for analysis
• Familiarity with dbt, Dataform, or similar transformation frameworks
• Understanding of relational and non-relational datasets and their use in analytics
• Experience automating and optimizing data transformation processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex data for reporting and insights
• Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting data models and reporting structures, with a focus on performance and scalability
• Ability to advise clients on best practices for data modeling, transformation, and analytics strategies
