Performance Engineer

As part of our Competency Center, there is one of the largest Performance Test Teams in Poland, whose members are using world leaders' tools.

Engineers work in a wide range of tested technologies - from websites and API, through ERP technology, and video streaming, to IoT. We are also pleased that they use elements of artificial intelligence in performance tests.

Your tasks

Creating innovative Next Generation Performance Tests using the Shift Left Approach
Planning and implementing tests
Building performance testing framework and environment
Preparing scripts using chosen tools (such as Locust, Gatling, and K6)
Collecting results using APM Tools
Building automated analysis mechanisms
Automating the full process using CI/CD tools, APM tools, Performance Testing tools, and automated analysis
Participating in demanding projects for clients from various sectors
Working with people with many years of experience in conducting performance tests
Proposing performance indicators
Performing root cause analysis of performance problems

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in performance testing 
Experience in testing applications in cloud (AWS and Azure) 
Having competency to set up all load test environments in Cloud, using AWS and Azure 
Strange skills in using and maintaining virtualized environments based on Docker/Kubernetes 
Knowledge of one or more languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, Scala 
Previous work with Version Control Systems (f.e. Git, SVN) 
Understand Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and knowledge of API technology and JSON structure 
Familiarity with Linux, and Windows performance tuning 
Experience with CI tools (e.g. Jenkins) and an understanding of the software and testing life cycle 
A solid understanding of the performance testing methodology 
Analytical mind and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Experience in Terraform/Nomad
