What You Do

Platform engineering team in Centric is helping organization to modernize its engineering culture in Agile ways. Internal Cloud Management Platform enables DevOps engineers to re-platform and refactor existing applications to public cloud environments. Strong knowledge in cloud providers and automation tools helps to build, innovate, and maintain our mature Cloud Management Platform.

A summary of your responsibilities:

Designing and implementing an automation platform for all aspects of the application infrastructure and deployment lifecycle.
Performing operations tasks such as monitoring platform performance over time or troubleshooting issues with platform production services.
Participating in meetings with DevOps engineers and collaborating with other members of the engineering team.
Work on cloud automation and orchestration tasks using Azure DevOps, Terraform.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of system documentation, deployment plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

What You Bring To The Team

MS Azure Cloud Computing Platform & Services awareness.
Awareness of Infrastructure and Platform components (network, load balancers, firewalls, servers, databases).
Ability to work with IaC tools (we use Terraform & Ansible), PowerShell and/or Linux environment and shell (bash) scripts.
Ability to learn new technology and ask appropriate and relevant technical questions.
Problem-solving mindset, proactiveness, initiative in talking and facing challenges.

Preferred (but not required):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or similar Azure certifications.
Exposure to container technologies like Docker and orchestration with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Azure Monitor or Log Analytics & Grafana).
Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing in the context of Azure.

The salary for this position starts from €1200 to €2900 gross per month, depending on the knowledge and experience.
