Software ML Engineer - Radar

As a Radar-ML Engineer on our team, you are on the edge of developing machine learning for radar to perceive the environment around our customer cars in never experienced clarity and work out the smallest bit of information, which are needed to fuel our next generation autonomous driving platforms as well as drivers’ assistance systems.

Your role

• Develop and apply the latest radar and AI/ML technologies to Aptiv's newest radar sensor generations
• Bring Aptiv's latest Radar ML technology to embedded devices by working together with a highly experienced, international team of technical experts
• Define proper interfaces and help creating efficient implementation and real-time integration of algorithms for AI SoCs
• Develop and apply tools and methods enabling related activities
• Collaborate in a challenging technical environment where science is turned into real products
• Bring strong communication and self-organization skills to the team
  
  

Your background

• Master or Ph.D. in science, technology, physics, engineering and mathematics or a related field
• Excellent analytical skills and a good mathematical background with deep mathematical understanding
• Excellent programming skills and experience in programming with Python
• Good programming skills and experience in programming with C/C++
• Experience with machine learning
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with modern radar signal processing methods
• Experience in developing software as part of a team.
• Experience in deep learning toolkits like Theano, Pytorch, Tensor Flow, etc.
• Experience in the field of real-time and embedded systems
• Autonomous driving or ADAS experience
• Proven track record of publications in relevant conferences (CVPR, NIPS, ICCV, ICRA, Fusion, ...) showing the capability to develop leading competitive solutions
