Software Engineer - Verification (f/m/x)

Join our Base Systems department, where we develop the safe and secure Linux operating system for our railway applications. Get in touch with the different parts of the OS like the communication systems, safety and security systems and the fault tolerant mechanisms. As a valued member of our team, you'll play an important role in the development of the TAS Platform and ensure the best quality of our system.

Your CHALLENGE

• Integrate and verify technical functions and solutions for our safe Linux operating system used in safety-critical railway applications
• Ensure code quality through thorough static and dynamic code analysis and other measurements
• Coordination and monitoring of test campaigns
• Review and verification of technical documents and writing concise reports
• Collaborate with distributed teams and contribute to agile processes for quality and safety
• Join an agile team where standardized processes for quality, safety, and security provide the framework for dynamic and efficient collaboration
  
  
  

Your PROFILE

• A completed education (HTL, FH, University) in a technical field like Informatics, Electrical Engineering or similar
• First experience in Software Engineering and interest in embedded real-time systems used for safety and security related applications
• Knowledge of LINUX OS and its development environment
• Good knowledge in C/C++; Java and/or Python skills are highly beneficial
• Experience with software version control systems (Git preferred) and bug tracking in Jira
• Knowledge in bash scripts and GNU make preferred
• Good communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders
• Pro-active working and communication style
• Fluency in German and English language

• The salary for this position starts at € 50.000 gross p.a. Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification.
