The App Integration, Accelerated Development team drives the design, implementation and integration of enterprise data and workflows to facilitate seamless system exchanges and application interoperability with the objective of elevating enterprise experience.

Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Head, App Integration will head the Application Integration team to lead a team of project managers and developers to design, implement, and continuously improve strategic integration solutions across HTX.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical acumen, a strong software development background, especially in system integration using modern platforms and technologies.

• Responsibilities
• Define and execute workplan and roadmap for the application integration team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align development and integration efforts with broader organisational objectives.
• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of integration solutions and technologies across the enterprise.
• Champion the adoption and optimisation of enterprise integration workflows, collaborative applications, and operational processes.
• Oversee the development of enterprise application infrastructure and integration platforms to contribute to organisational workflow efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers and development teams to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams in business, IT, operations, and security to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new systems.
• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for application integration and development.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, security, and audit requirements.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to drive integration innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

3. Requirements

• Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a dynamic environment, aligning technical deliverables with overall business objectives.
• Skilled at managing team resources, forecasting project budgets, and ensuring cost-effective delivery.
• History of building and mentoring cross-functional software development teams, emphasising technical integration and innovation.
• Ability to align technology and integration strategies with organisational goals, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
• Strong software development background, especially in building integration solutions using API, microservices, and messaging middleware.
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms and understanding of cloud-native architecture, containerisation, and DevSecOps practices.
• Demonstrated ability in adapting seamlessly to both on-premises and cloud architectures and environments according to evolving business and technical needs.
• Experience in implementing robust access controls, identity and access
• management (IAM), and encryption strategies across distributed environments.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, select, and negotiate contracts with technology vendors, ensuring the best fit and value for the organization.
• Skilled at monitoring vendor performance, enforcing service-level agreements, and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Analytical thinker with a focus on scalable, efficient backend solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Effective communicator and team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.

• Minimally 7 or more years of relevant working experience.
