About the Role: We’re partnering with a dynamic, early-stage FinTech startup, backed by a successful parent company, to find a Senior Software Engineer to join the team. You’ll be the first senior engineer on the ground, playing a key role in building and scaling our user-friendly, high-performance platform while managing technical delivery with the third party app building consultancy.

This is a seriously successful opportunity for someone who wants be involved in greenfield work and a product at its earliest infancy!

Reporting into the Head of Projects your experience includes:

• Build & Innovate: Design and develop responsive, cross-browser websites and web applications that deliver an exceptional user experience.
• Collaborate: Work closely with design, product, and development teams to bring creative UI/UX concepts to life.
• Iterate Fast: Rapidly prototype new features, gather feedback, and refine with speed and agility.
• Problem Solve: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with a focus on performance, security, and stability.
• Own the Code: Write clean, scalable code and ensure the platform remains secure, updated, and high-performing.

What we’re needing to see in candidates:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 4+ years of experience in front-end and/or back-end web development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
• Experience with popular front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with server-side technologies like Node.js, PHP, Python, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of content management systems
• Experience working within Financial Services, bonus points if in digital assets
• Great communication skills and leadership ability
• Adaptable and agile to work in an early stage start-up
