About the Role

As a Principal Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of key software components used by Portfolio Managers and Analysts in the management of significant financial portfolios. You will have the opportunity to shape and contribute to Alphabet, our flagship portfolio construction platform, while playing a vital role in building out high-quality software in an agile environment. This role offers you the chance to lead engineering practices, collaborate with multiple teams, and improve both product and development practices.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for highly motivated and product-aware engineers who are eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You should have:

• 8+ years of design and development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive, and RESTful services.
• Experience with React (and Angular 12+ is desirable).
• Expertise in Test Automation tools and frameworks such as Karate, Cypress, and Mockito.
• Exposure to Kafka, Kubernetes, EKS, and AWS deployment is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle, JPA, and GraphQL is desirable.
• A solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Strong passion for test-first development and using modern test frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience or interest in the financial domain, specifically in Equities, Fixed Income, or Alternative Asset classes, is an advantage.
