Data Analyst

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client is the leading provider of specialized financial services to alternative investment funds, investors, multinationals and private clients worldwide.

Your Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will support the Data Transformation team and all lines of business in creating robust reporting solutions and data products. You will be part of the delivery team to ensure that right functionality is built and delivered in a timely manner. You will transform the high-level vision and requirements of the Product Manager into detailed user stories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Correspond with various business groups to identify tactical needs
• Identify, analyze, plan and develop customized client reporting needs using scripting languages (e.g. SQL, BI, etc.)
• Develop peripheral automation for our processes (e.g. VBA macros, SQL scripts etc.)
• Co-ordinate with our other technology groups for implementation and deployment
• QA testing, manage UAT and roll-out of technology
• Support and maintain existing scripts and tools employed by the group
• Ensure there is sufficient documentation for our processes
• Assist with various projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline, such as computer science, engineering, finance, economics or accounting
• Experience with some programming languages
• Experience with SQL and VBA macros is preferred
• Experience with QlikSense, Python, C#/.Net, and HTML is an asset
• Candidacy/completion of CSC, CFA, CMA or other related certifications is an asset
• Affinity with markets and investments
• Excellent proficiency in English, verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills

The offered salary is 3000 - 3500 eur/gross.
