Python Developer

Contract: long term freelance role

Rate: negotiable depending on experience

Location: Luxembourg City

Role & Responsibilities:

• Reengineer ETL processes using Python, if necessary.
• Handle data from various source systems (manual source, unstructured source, etc.) and transform it into the target model.
• Ensure data integrity throughout the migration process.
• Clearly communicate with teammates and other project streams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Document specifications and processes in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Skills & Requirements:

• Python Development: Proficiency in Python for data processing, ETL experience, and knowledge of libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data.
• Excel Proficiency: Strong understanding of Excel to better comprehend the work to be performed and facilitate the transition of processes into Python.
• Structuring and Normalizing Data Sources: Ability to structure and normalize different data sources (manual, unstructured) to make them automatically usable.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear and structured documentation in PowerPoint and Word.
• Communication & Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, teammates, and other project streams, conduct workshops, take notes, take minutes, and clearly articulate problems and solutions.
• Candidates should ideally be proficient in both Anatella and Python.
• Knowledge of the Fund Industry and Accounting.
