Senior Compliance Officer

About the Role:

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join a leading and regulated crypto-asset company in Luxembourg. As part of the 2nd line of defense, you will play a key role in compliance monitoring, financial crime prevention, and ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks such as MiCAR and DORA.

Your Responsibilities:

✅ Develop and update compliance policies in line with Luxembourg/EU regulations

✅ Conduct compliance monitoring, testing, and risk assessments

✅ Ensure adherence to AML/CFT, financial crime prevention, and consumer protection regulations

✅ Assist in regulatory reporting and audits (CSSF, external/internal reviews)

✅ Collaborate with the Customer Operations & Global Compliance teams for investigations and risk mitigation

✅ Oversee sanctions screening tools and transaction monitoring

Your Profile:

🎓 Master’s degree in Business, Law, Risk Management, or related fields

📌 5+ years of experience in compliance within a regulated financial institution, fintech, payment services, or banking

🔍 Strong knowledge of AML, financial crime compliance, MiCAR, and DORA regulations

📝 Experience in compliance advisory, monitoring plans, and regulatory audits

💬 Fluent in English (French or other European languages is a plus)
