Why we will love you
You will help us build and improve a user-friendly omnichannel payment solution within IKEA to process many thousands of payments per minute for more than 30 markets worldwide. Each with its own unique payment needs.
The work that we are doing is mainly customer-facing so it is not only important that we strive for a frictionless payment experience but also that resiliency and scalability are important cornerstones of the deliveries.

- Believe in taking a pragmatic approach and value simplicity when building new solutions.
- Are you curious and see failure as an opportunity to learn and push your skills?
- Comfortable building advanced web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, our current tech stack is primarily React, Typescript ,Redux, Jest, NPM, Node, Cypress, HTML, CSS.
- Able to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient services based on DevOps principles.
- Familiar with cloud computing platforms – preferably GCP, but other platforms are great too!
- An understanding of modern observability practices such as distributed tracing, structured logging and metrics.
- Have great written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus points if you have:
-Experience working in e-commerce and online payments.
- Experience with deployment automation tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
