Requirements

Role Overview:

  • Development of algorithms and compilers using C/C++, with familiarity in modern build systems (Bazel, Blaze, CMake is a plus).
  • Experience with caching and build distribution technologies.
  • Proficient in general software design and development, including basic algorithm implementation, test-driven development (TDD), and adherence to DevSecOps principles.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud technologies (Terraform, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, ClearCase, SVN) and automated software integration and release processes.
  • Experience with tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Prior software development experience in environments like embedded systems or RHEL is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Build Specialist, you will collaborate with a highly skilled and educated team within one of the greenhouse engineering groups, typically consisting of 6-8 members.
  • Your role will involve preparing and executing technical work packages, ensuring quality and adhering to project timelines.
  • You will focus on designing, developing, and implementing solutions that align with project requirements and the development roadmap.
