What You'll Do

  • Oversee and manage multiple engineering R&D UAV projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with Project Technical Leads to define schedules, set priorities, drive progress, and track milestones
  • Develop, manage, and coordinate annual and quarterly R&D budget forecasts in partnership with R&D team leads
  • Conduct and coordinate monthly budget reviews (Actuals vs. Forecast) with R&D team leads, R&D VPs, R&D SVP, and Finance
  • Manage engineering resource allocations and provide monthly updates on R&D team structures
  • Support Engineering VPs in implementing structured engineering practices and project management methodologies across the organization
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive program plans, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Ensure project objectives align with organizational goals and strategic priorities

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, preferably as a Design Engineer or Systems Engineer for UAV product

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project management within the aerospace industr

  • Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in managing monthly budget cycles (Actuals vs Forecast) and resource allocation with man power forecastin

  • Proven track record of successfully managing aerospace engineering projects from inception to completio

  • In-depth knowledge of structured engineering practices and methodologies in the aerospace secto

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitie

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership and stakeholder
