System Engineer

Systems Engineer - Stockholm

Our client, a well-established Nordic IT organization, is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in network infrastructure and IT security, who enjoys taking ownership of systems and working in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work alongside the senior network specialist to design, implement, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. This includes managing firewalls, switches, and wireless solutions, as well as contributing to overall IT security strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure and services.
• Configure and maintain network and server environments.
• Work closely with the operations team to design and build integrated system solutions.
• Play an active role in strengthening IT security across the organization.

What Our Client is Looking For

Must-Haves:

• Passion for IT infrastructure and operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Experience with Fortinet (firewalls), Cisco (switches), and Meraki (wireless).
• Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certifications in Cisco (CCNP), Fortinet, or Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with Azure or AWS environments.
• A solid IT background with hands-on experience in networking and security.

Additional Details

• Location: Stockholm (Hybrid - 3 days in the office, flexible days)
• Salary: Up to 50,000 SEK/month (higher for cybersecurity/network specialists)
• On-Call Bonus: Additional pay for both being on-call and handling calls (approx. 1 week per month).
• Benefits: Pension, 6 weeks of holiday, and standard company benefits.
