Position Summary

We are looking for an exceptional Senior AI-Enhanced BMS Engineer with deep expertise in hardware design and artificial intelligence to drive our next-generation energy storage system projects. The ideal candidate will not only be proficient in hardware design for battery management systems (BMS) but also in integrating AI to optimize performance, safety, and efficiency. This position is critical in advancing our AI-powered BMS technologies, pushing the boundaries of intelligent energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• AI-Driven Hardware Design: Develop state-of-the-art BMS hardware solutions that leverage artificial intelligence to enhance system scalability, adaptability, and real-time decision-making capabilities.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to integrate AI-enhanced hardware designs with overall system requirements and architecture.
• Optimize BMS with AI: Architect BMS systems that utilize AI for predictive maintenance, battery lifespan extension, and efficiency improvements, enabling smarter energy management.
• Advanced Sensing and Control: Implement AI-based sensing and control strategies to dynamically monitor and manage battery health, performance, and safety in real time.
• Failure Mode and Safety Analysis: Use AI and machine learning algorithms to improve failure prediction models, conducting thorough safety analyses in line with international standards (e.g., UL, IEC).
• Innovation and Industry Trends: Stay at the cutting edge of AI applications in energy storage, continuously integrating the latest AI-driven innovations into BMS technologies.
• Full System Integration: Ensure that AI-enhanced hardware seamlessly integrates into the overall system, supporting modularity, scalability, and future upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in BMS design and development, with a strong focus on energy storage systems and AI integration.
• Deep knowledge of Li-Ion battery technology, energy storage systems, and electrical safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC).
• Proven expertise in microprocessor-based controller design, communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Serial), power electronics, and integrating AI-driven control algorithms.
• Experience with AI tools, simulation, and modeling to predict system behavior, optimize performance, and enable intelligent battery management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in AI and data-driven approaches to engineering challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a history of successfully working in cross-functional teams, including AI, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
• Active contributor to product strategy, particularly in AI-powered energy storage solutions.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and energy storage technologies.
