Front End Software Engineer

Job Overview

At ARM, we are shaping the future of computing by enabling innovation and performance at scale. We are looking for a Front-End Software Engineers to join our Software Engineering group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and enhance user-facing applications using React for ground breaking computing infrastructure solutions. You will be working with a multi-functional team spread across Arm’s worldwide engineering centers.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing intuitive, scalable front-end applications, ensuring high-performance user interfaces, and collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver an outstanding user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React-based front-end applications.
• Ensure high-performance and responsive UI components using React and modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Optimize application performance by implementing standard processes in state management (e.g. React query).
• Configure CI/CD pipelines for automated front-end deployments.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.
  
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Shown experience with React.js and modern front-end frameworks.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with state management libraries like React Query, Context API.
• Strong expertise in front-end build automation (Webpack, Babel, or Vite).
• Ability to write unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library.
  
  

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques in React applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools for front-end deployment (Jenkins, or GitLab CI).
• Experience with RESTful APIs for data integration.
• Experience with security standard processes for front-end applications.

Salary Range $149,047-$201,652 per year
