Position Overview

We are seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure controls, networks, and applications that protect Snoonu’s sensitive data and assets from cyber threats. This role requires strong technical communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vulnerability management and threat mitigation.
• Administer and optimize cybersecurity tools (SIEM, DLP, IAM, EPP/EDR/XDR, MDM, WAF).
• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and countermeasures.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS).
• Design and implement identity and access control policies (RBAC, ABAC).
• Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor security alerts, conduct security audits, and maintain compliance.
• Develop and implement secure network solutions.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness through training and outreach.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities, manage patches, and ensure system hardening.

Qualifications

Basic:

• 3+ years in a hands-on security-focused role.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, ISO27001).
• Experience securing cloud applications and environments (AWS).
• Knowledge of diverse Security Solutions: EDR, MDM, DLP, SIEM, Nessus, or similar tools.
• Understanding of basic network security principles, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong knowledge of phishing techniques, detection, and mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security.
• Pentesting experience or a strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Security certifications (C
• ISM, CISSP, etc.).Experience with security automation and machine learning.
