Game Assets Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Game Designer with expertise in designing game environments and assets in both 2D and 3D. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic background, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of poker and card games is a plus, as it will be valuable in designing game elements related to these genres.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and create visually stunning game environments and assets in 2D and 3D.

Collaborate with the art and development teams to ensure cohesive and immersive game worlds.

Develop concept art, storyboards, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.

Create detailed 3D models, textures for various game assets.

Optimize assets for performance and quality across different platforms.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the design process.

Contribute to the overall artistic direction and vision of the game.

Utilize knowledge of poker and card games to design relevant game elements and features.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Art, Computer Graphics, or a related field.

Proven experience in designing game environments and assets in both 2D and 3D.

Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, Blender, ZBrush, or similar tools.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 2D and 3D game design work.

Knowledge of game development processes and pipelines.

Excellent artistic skills, including a strong sense of composition, color, and lighting.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate ideas.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of poker and card games is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with animation and visual effects.

Understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.
