Software Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and design a monitoring system for an AI system
• Improve and maintain a logging system for all the components of the AI system
• Optimise and improve system stability
• Upgrade system architecture to ensure scalability
• Refactor code design and architecture to ensure modularity, stability, scalability and performance
• Write the unit tests and end-to-end tests and optimise existing code
• Implement automation processes
• Develop debugging tools and a user error feedback system
• Engage with stakeholders in system troubleshooting and support

Platform specific:

• Ensure software stability and performance
• Integrate models and algorithms into the platform
• Develop interfaces and ensure deployment is successful and reliable
• Work on reducing downtime and increasing efficiency
• Build a deployment strategy that is flexible and reliable

Qualification and skills:

• BSc in Computer Science or a similar technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience with computer vision models and algorithms
• Exposure to IoT, robotics and integrating sensors
• Experience using modern C++
• Experience with video streams (Cuda, DeepStream and ffmpeg)
• Hands on experience with edge computing and embedded computer vision software
• Experience with Nvidia GPU based processing systems
