Strategic Product Marketing Manager - Public Safety (all genders)

Job Introduction

Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

In this position, you will develop the marketing strategy and corresponding activities in the field of safety-critical control centres for ensuring public safety. You will create sales materials (e.g., collaterals, videos, event- and product presentations) and manage marketing campaigns with a focus on Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and Australasia. With your understanding of B2B/B2G marketing, you will develop creative marketing messages that optimally position our products in the market and establish new topics.

Key Tasks

  • Develop positioning, communication strategies, and core messaging to strengthen the global presence
  • Responsible for the entire marketing communication mix and its content (sales materials, website, social media, trade shows, events)
  • Plan, implement, and analyse cross-media marketing campaigns (in collaboration with sales and other departments)
  • Plan and manage the marketing budget for this business unit
  • Manage agencies and external service providers as well as lead interdisciplinary project teams
  • Increase the visibility and relevance of the sector on social media
  • Work closely with internal departments, especially sales, other business units, and the marketing team

Key Qualifications

  • Completed studies in business administration with a focus on marketing/communication or comparable marketing education
  • At least 3 years of experience in product/content marketing in an international B2B/B2G environment, preferably in the public safety sector
  • High affinity for technical solutions and products
  • Experience in developing and implementing target group-oriented campaigns for technology-based products
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for detail
  • Experience with various types of content and understanding of customer journeys
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional (international) stakeholders simultaneously
  • Independent, structured, and team-oriented working style
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
